to be fair though, at least in my community, kid garb gets passed around for YEARS once the original kid grows out of it. I still see kids that I've never met running around at events wearing garb I used to wear, and I grew out of it like twenty years ago.
Thats how clothes worked all the way through up until the last century so it's historically accurate!
